Hello ladies! Today, I thought I would share with you my first eyelash experience ever. It is actually my first beauty blog post so please let me know if you like it or not and if yes, I will share more with you.
Before starting, you need to know I am not a crazy make-up user. I usually don’t put a lot on my face. Just a little bit of powder, mascara and maybe some eyeliner when I go out. Nonetheless, I would almost never go out with mascara. To me the look is very important and changes everything.
A few weeks ago, my friend told me about these new eyelashes treatment that makes your eyelash tinted and curved without using extensions. Living in the South of France and going to the beach quite often, I thought this might be great for the summer. I would not need to put mascara for a few weeks as it would already look like if it was there and it would not blacken the corners of my eyes anymore when I go to the beach and decide to swim.
I then decided to try the YUMI Lashes advanced technique at Nail Box & Studio du Regard in Monaco hoping for a stunning gaze and longer lashes.
Before starting, the very professional and adorable salon technician Marine – who is also an expert in permanent make-up and recently did a formation to erase face tattoos – explained me everything in a few words. It seemed very easy. She also said the launch of lash enhancement is a practical revolution recognized in the beauty world. At this point, I could not wait anymore. I wanted to get my new lashes!
Here is what you need to know before trying YUMI Lashes technique:
- The treatment does not hurt at all.
- The lashes will be tinted, boosted and lifted, no false lashes needed!
- Once the treatment is done, your eyelashes will look great for around 1 month and a half – 2 months.
- It is not going to ruin your eyelashes; on the contrary, the keratin that contains the treatment will strengthen them.
- The salon treatment takes around 1 hour. Your eyes will remain closed during that time.
How did it go?
First, the salon is very nice. All the girls there are smiley, joyful and very professional and would make you instantly feel comfortable. I did not have to wait a second, they were on time.
I went upstairs and lied down on this nice chair, closed my eyes and Marine started. First, she put the product to curve and extend my lashes. Secondly, she tinted them. A range of tints are available for coloring the lash which will compliment your complexion perfectly. I couldn’t feel much, it did not burn or anything.
I opened my eyes after my “nap” and wow, I was very impressed. My look completely changed from when I woke up and did not have any make-up on. I could really see the difference, without feeling anything different which is really good. My eyes looked big and very open and I could not believe this was going to be my face for the next two months. No more mascara, no more curving, I will look like this all the time. Amazing! I felt like a winner and already thought that I would adopt it on a regular basis, doing it every two months, something like this.
To me, the YUMI Lashes technique is the perfect alternative to a traditional perm that simply curves your lashes and to false eyelashes, which I would probably not feel comfortable wearing. YUMI LASHES turns the eyelashes upwards, gives them length, height and volume, and an appearance of having longer and thicker lashes.
