Monaco offers the opportunity to live some fantastic experiences, including original gastronomic ones. A few weeks ago, I have heard a fantastic news: Dinner in the Sky is coming to Monte-Carlo and I am over-excited about it!
If you have not heard about Dinner in the Sky (which would be astonishing), this concept was born in Bruxelles in 2006 and expanded everywhere in the world. The concept is as simple as crazy: you seat around a big table with 21 other guests and a nacelle lifts you us to 50 metres high for a memorable gastronomic experience in the air. Believe me if you can, everything is prepared up there (meaning that the platform also comes with a mini-kitchen!) in front of the guests by renowned Chefs. No worries, there is absolutely no risk and it for sure worth winning the fear.
Following the success of Paris, Las Vegas, New-York or Vancouver, Jean-Christophe Goethals, who also owns an event company called Just Unlimited, has had the great idea to bring it to us. Monte-Carlo’s take off is planned from the terraces of the Monte-Carlo Casino from the 7th of July and will last until the 16th of July. For a sunny lunch or a starry evening dinner, 600 guests will have the chance to enjoy a 360° view towards Monaco from the Prince Palace, the famous casino, and the port with the backdrop of the Mediterranean Sea.
Amongst the Chefs, lots of world-renowned ones have already been confirmed such as Marcel Ravin (Chef du Monte-Carlo Bay Hotel, one star Michelin), Benjamin Collombat (Château de Berne Hotel, one star Michelin), Arnaud Faye (La chèvre d’or in Eze), David Hemmerlé (Four Seasons Hotel Moscow), Jérôme De Oliveira (Pastry World Champion), Jérôme Rigaud (Chef at the Monaco Yacht Club) or Philippe Joannès (Fairmont Monte-Carlo Chef).
Dinner in the Sky is going to take the Principality by storm so you should better book in advance your direct departure to a luxurious trip to an extraordinary gourmet experience coming with a special hospitality service including a pick-up by car or helicopter (from Saint Tropez, Corsica or Geneva for example) to the Casino and a VIP service at the Casino terraces.
